How to get there
Egersund has good connections by road to Stavanger and Kristiansand, via European route E39. You may park for free in Egersund and busses will transport you from the parking lots to the Christmas Market.
There is also an hourly train connection northwards to Stavanger, while express and regional trains run southwards towards Kristiansand and Oslo. You may walk from the train station to the Market or take one of the free busses.
Where to stay
Grand Hotell Egersund is close to the Market and is known for its historic surroundings and friendly atmosphere. The restaurant is newly renovated, bright and elegantly furnished with a kitchen that emphasizes local food.
You may also come with your own motorhome as we have reserved parking lots with electricity.

You will find sellers from many countries in the booths at the Market. The Norwegian tradition is mixed with input from all over Europe to make “Julebyen” as diverse as possible.
